Pixi by Petra Brow Tamer (Full Size) – RRP £12

Not tested on animals.

It’s always exciting to find a product from a brand you know and love, so I was delighted to see this Brow Tamer from Pixi in my box.

This Brow Tamer is a new release as part of her collaboration with four leading beauty and lifestyle guru’s. This particular product is in collab with Beauty blogger and YouTuber Aspyn.

This collaboration with Pixi was a chance for the 4 beauty experts to create their ”dream” products that represent their aspirations, whilst still following Petra’s philosophy of fuss free beauty.

”Fuss free” is exactly how I would describe this product, it’s a clear transparent gel that you run through your eyebrows to set them in place and overall the process takes just a minute.

The formula includes Aloe Vera and Panthenol in the ingredients so it conditions the hairs and creates a natural soft hold and avoids that hair-sprayed eyebrows look.

Jelly Pong Pong Fairy Lashes Curl (Full Size) – RRP £17.95

Not tested on animals.

Jelly Pong Pong is not a cosmetic company I have tried before, but I love their quirky brand ideas. Jelly Pong Pong’s philosophy is to combine forward thinking unconventional ideas  and make them a reality.

The mascara is a curling mascara and contains a unique Moringa Seed resin that dries and holds your curl in place all day. I tend to opt for volume in lashes rather than a curl so this product isn’t one I will reach for often, but I still believe it is great for someone who wants the curly lash look.

I think the name is very apt for the product as it created delicate, long lasting curls just how I imagine a fairy’s lashes to look so I give it a 10/10 on its branding. Free from chemicals, it’s also hypoallergenic, meaning those with sensitive eyes can use it too.

The Vintage Cosmetics Company Slanted Tweezers (Full Size)  – RRP £8

There is not too much to say about these as they are pretty standard. They get the job done and I’m a fan of the rose gold. As I already have a set of Browtician tweezers at home from another beauty box, these will most likely become my travel tweezers.

Trifle Cosmetics Liquid Glow (Full Size) – RRP £15.96

Not tested on animals.

Trifle Cosmetics have in my opinion some of the cutest beauty packaging and the contents always smell like heaven. That being said I am never a fan of their formulas or the finished effect, despite how much I wish I was.

This liquid glow product from Trifle Cosmetics promises a glow of rosy brilliance to your face after application, I can’t say I noticed this myself but perhaps that is due to my pasty skin tone!

On the plus side it is formulated with Cocoa Butter and it promises to nourish and add hydration so it’s great for the winter months and people who suffer from dry skin. I am still hopeful for this product so I will continue to use it and see if I can make it work.

NUXE Lotion Tonique Douce (Sample Size) – RRP £14

NUXE Lotion Tonique Douce is a gentle toning lotion with rose petals. NUXE is a trusty skin care brand so I am excited to try this out especially with the current weather. This toner is suitable for those with sensitive skin and contains no alcohol or parabens so it will not dry your skin out.

Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! (Sample Size) – RRP £30

Not tested on animals.

If your hair is in need of some oomph following the cold weather, this might be the product for you.

This is a deeply hydrating hair mask for dry and lackluster hair. This mask delivers a blend of nutrients such as Argan Oil and Rosehip to replenish hair back to a shiny and healthy looking state. I haven’t had a chance to use this product yet but it definitely is one I will be keeping as I’m a sucker for a hair mask.

This box has to be one of my favorites so far; it’s prepared me for the upcoming months and is a great start to 2017. The box has been carefully curated to include items that will come in use for all skin types during this winter.

I’m in love with the packaging this month, especially the quote on the inside – ”Smile! It’s the most beautiful asset you have. Wear it everyday”. I will definitely be keeping the lid for makeup storage. I will be uploading longer individual reviews on some of the items above once I have had a chance to use them a few times and really test them out.
